Global cloud computing awards program names Geosite as winner in the Best Geospatial/Aviation Cloud Solution category

PALO ALTO, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2022) -- Geosite, the company that builds business intelligence software leveraging cutting-edge spatial data and AI, is recognized today as winner of the international cloud computing awards program, The Cloud Awards. Geosite took top honors in the Best Geospatial/Aviation Cloud Solution category.

The Cloud Awards, now in its tenth year, seeks to identify, promote, and celebrate innovation in cloud computing. Geosite was selected as the winner of the Best Geospatial/Aviation Cloud Solution category from among hundreds of organizations across the globe, covering the Americas, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

“These are exciting times as geospatial data moves out of the hands of experts and into the hands of frontline users via the cloud,” says Rachel Olney, Geosite’s CEO and Founder. “Winning the Cloud Awards shows the power of that vision and the impact that cloud-delivered geospatial data holds for industries ranging from insurance and energy to utilities and defense.”

“The Cloud Awards has been identifying the great organizations who create world-changing technologies for a decade now,” observes James Williams, Head of Operations for the Cloud Awards. “Geosite is a worthier-than-ever winner of a Cloud Award, taking cloud technologies to new heights. It was a real pleasure to see them come top in their category and shows how much they impressed the panel with their market-leading innovations.”
