Critical workflows set to benefit from quicker access to powerful software, which contextualizes data and puts it in the hands of everyday planners and operators
PALO ALTO, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2021) -- Today, Geosite, the company building business intelligence software for any application that uses spatial data, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, launched a partnership to streamline access to Geosite’s advanced spatial intelligence tools for Department of Defense (DoD), other federal, and state-level government customers.
The move provides quicker access to software designed to harness the tsunami of data from satellites, drones and IoT devices, while putting it in the hands of front-line analysts, planners and operators to improve critical workflows ranging from incident response and infrastructure to tactical operations.
“Geospatial data affects nearly every aspect of government, but the acquisition process for the tools needed to plan and use resources more efficiently is often bogged down by administrative red tape,” points out Rachel Olney, Geosite’s CEO and founder. “This initiative cuts through the red tape and puts the necessary tools into the hands of those solving critical problems both at home and abroad.”
The partnership will add Geosite to Carahsoft’s NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 (ITES-SW2), and OMNIA Partners contracts, allowing government departments and agencies to quickly acquire Geosite’s applications. Geosite will also be available through Carahsoft’s reseller partners.
“Geosite’s powerful geospatial applications are fundamentally changing how large enterprises plan and manage resources to outperform competitors,” said Lacey Wean, Manager of Geospatial Solutions at Carahsoft. “We look forward to providing streamlined access to those tools through the support of our reseller partners to help the public sector prioritize and accelerate customer and employee experiences.”
The secret behind Geosite’s powerful software is its novel data fusion techniques, which bring information from satellites, drones, IoT devices and advanced analytics into a single, easy-to-use environment. The company’s platform features an intuitive user interface and incorporates modern productivity-boosting features to provide quick visualization, communication, collaboration and decision-making from any location, in an office or in the field.
Geosite’s platform has already demonstrated enormous value across a host of major industries including:
Energy - provides distributed energy operations (from oil and gas, geothermal, and renewables) with a cost-effective, easy-to-use system, to improve situational awareness and incident response management by constantly monitoring assets to reduce emissions and environmental impacts.
Insurance - enables digital transformation of claims and underwriting processes related to flood depth measurement, wind damage analysis and continuous property monitoring through business operations applications that remove the complexity of geospatial data.
Utilities - reduces the frequency and duration of outages by allowing operators to easily visualize where problems exist using data from controls and sensors, together with weather, crime, disaster and other risk and incident data to enable quick and precise response.
Defense - strengthens readiness and improves mission planning and execution through intuitive data visualization and analysis tools in an open architecture framework; current applications support common operating pictures, search and rescue, supply and logistics, and crisis management.
Geosite is available through Carahsoft’s SEWP V contracts NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B and ITES-SW2 Contract W52P1J-20-D-0042. For more information, contact the Geosite team at Carahsoft at (703) 673-3645 or Geosite@carahsoft.com.
